This Joint Conference brings together the global leadership of ICBHI in biomedical and health informatics with CLASD’s regional strength in digital health systems. Together, they create a unique platform for advancing intelligent, data-driven, and human-centered health technologies.

As part of ICBHI–CLASD 2026, we are pleased to announce the Student Paper Competition, designed to recognize outstanding research contributions from undergraduate and graduate students in biomedical engineering, health informatics, and digital health. This competition offers students the opportunity to present their work in an international setting, gain visibility, and engage with experts from academia, healthcare, and industry. It aims to encourage high-quality research and support the development of future leaders in intelligent health systems.

Getting to Oaxaca
Oaxaca is one of Mexico’s most renowned cultural destinations and is easily accessible by air from major domestic and international hubs. The city is served by Oaxaca International Airport (OAX), located approximately 20–30 minutes from downtown Oaxaca and the conference area.
